Description

Plywood with outer plies made of birch veneers. Inner plies might be made of different types of veneers or birch vener throughout plyood.

Face/Back

Birch

The grade of face/back: B/B (Ⅰ/Ⅰ),B/BB(Ⅰ/Ⅱ); BB/BB (Ⅱ/Ⅱ); BB/CP(Ⅱ/Ⅲ); CP/CP(Ⅲ/Ⅲ); C/C(Ⅳ/Ⅳ) Russian grade or  (C+/C; C/C; C/D; D/D; E/E US grade)

Core

Birch, Eucalyptus, Poplar, Pine and hardwoods or other required wood.

The grade of the core: AA grade, A+ grade, A grade

Glue

* Interior: on the basis of urea-formaldehyde (UF) glue, for use in dry conditions (acc. to EN 636, technical class EN 636-1),

* Exterior with white glue line: on the basis of melamine-urea-formaldehyde (MUF) glue, for use in humid conditions (acc. to EN 636, technical class EN 636-2),

* Exterior: on the basis of phenol-formaldehyde (PF) glue, for use in exterior conditions (acc. to EN 636, technical class EN 636-3).

Glue: E0,E1,E2,MR,WBP(Melanmine), WBP(Phenolic),WBP(E1&Melanmine), WBP(E1&Phenolic)

Size

1220×2440mm, 1250×2500mm, 1500×3000mm

Thickness

2.4mm to 30mm, other sizes available as required

Density

680 to 700 kg/m3 for birch throughout plywood, or lighter(depending on type of core veneers used)

Sanding

Both sides or one side, or as requested

 Features of Birch Plywood

Prices of birch face/backs of different grade do vary on a rather wide range. For example, the rates of B Russian grade face is 4-6 times of the ones for E Russian grade face.

The surface is well sanded and very flat and smooth.

The density of full birch plywood is much higher than poplar core plywood.

The birch core veneers are all whole piece core veneers.

The inner quality is satisfactory and prices tend to be highend.

Full Birch Plywood B/BB,BB/BB,BB/CP grade as per Russian grading system (or C+/C; C/C; C/D grade as per US grading system ) birch F/B, A grade birch core, WBP(phenolic) glue

 The application area

For interior application as high quality furniture,especially for upholstered pieces of furniture, such as beds, armchairs, sofas, etc/roofing panel/underlayment/subfoor; for exterior application as high quality building materials/fences/signs and so on .

 Post processing:

* cutting to smaller sizes on panel saws,
* finishing of edges - straight and profiled, drilling, routing - in CNC centres,
* finishing of the plate's edges with tongue and groove.

 Product market

About 90% of full birch plywood are exported to EU , USA, Canada ; about 10% are exported to Africa, Middle East and other countries
